What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is the most advanced clear aligner system in the world today. If you want straighter teeth – whatever your age – you’ll get the best results with Invisalign® at Leeming Dental. In addition, adults and teens can now transform their smile while maintaining proper oral hygiene and a normal lifestyle. Invisalign® aligners can be removed at meal times, when brushing your teeth – and for those special occasions when you want to look your best. Even then, you would probably get away with not removing your Invisalign® aligners, since they are “crystal clear” and almost unnoticeable by other people in most situations.

How will you look with a straighter smile?

There’s no guess work required here. With Invisalign® ClinCheck software, you can preview your new smile ahead of time at the treatment planning stage – so you can be totally confident in the end result.

The Invisalign® treatment process

There are 4 basic treatment stages:

  • Stage 3 – Customised aligners are made up
  • Stage 4 – Treatment period

lanning to have veneers?

If you plan to have veneers, then straightening your teeth beforehand can ensure a better result.  Invisalign® aligners shift your teeth into their optimum positions before any veneer work. As a result, there is minimal veneer prep required, and less weakening of your natural tooth structure. However, if you already have porcelain veneers, you can wear Invisalign® aligners throughout your course of treatment.

How much does Invisalign® cost?

The cost of your treatment will vary depending on the complexity of your misaligned teeth and the course of treatment that you have chosen. To get an accurate cost estimate of your treatment, please consult with our Invisalign® trained dentists. On the whole, the average treatment cost of Invisalign® ranges from $6600.

Insurance cover

If you have orthodontic coverage in your dental insurance policy, Invisalign® treatment could be covered in the same way as braces. However, since dental benefits differ between health funds, you should check with your health insurance provider first.
