Dr. Sonny Lee is on a mission challenging the status quo in dentistry. Community & charity work – Additionally he donates his whole clinic on a monthly basis to the TIMA charity to help the homeless, refugees and domestic violence victims and has worked with TIMA, Red Cross and many homeless shelters in Perth since 2014 and is involved with CHAT based in Vietnam and CHIARA in Myanmar for the past 8 years.
Family medical background – Dr. Sonny Lee is part of a medical family with a wealth of experience spanning two generations. His father is an eye surgeon, his mother is a dental specialist, and his brother and wife are both dentists. His family has a long standing history and commitment to medical service for the community.
Dr. Sonny Lee and Dr. Elmer Lee are brothers who share a love for dentistry. Leeming Dental and Dental Paradiso are both operated by the brothers, where excellent services are provided. Dental Paradiso at Osborne Park.
Dentist Sashika Fernando
Dr. Sashika Fernando’s goal is to help people achieve a beautiful smile and her main aim is to minimize dental problems in the future by working with and educating her patients she provides a preventative treatment approach to dental care with a holistic approach. She is especially passionate about discussing diet and lifestyle habits and their influence on the oral environment and also enjoys meeting and treating patients that are anxious, providing them with experiences that help change their mind about dentistry.

Education and training achievements – Graduating from the University of WA with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2011 Sashika has undergone further study with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, completing her primary examinations in 2014 and enjoys keeping up with the newest technologies in dentistry. She has also completed courses in Facial Injectables and CEREC technology and is currently completing a post-graduate degree with the University of Portsmouth on Aesthetic Dentistry. She holds a membership with the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian Dental Association of Western Australia (ADAWA).
Additionally to Leeming Dental Sashika also works part-time at Swan Districts Dental Clinic, a government dental clinic situated in Middle Swan. Sash grew up and went to school in the Swan Valley and is happy to give back to her community by improving their oral health. She relocated with her family to Perth, WA from Sri Lanka as a child growing up in the Hills and attending Governor Stirling Senior High School and has become the longest standing member with us.
Leisure time activities – Dr. Sashika Fernando’s passion is dentistry but Sash loves to dance. When she isn’t burning up the dance floor, she enjoys reading spiritual books, hanging out with her family, long walks in nature and going to the beach. She also loves eating delicious food with her fiancé, especially the food he cooks!
Dentist Justina Teo
Dr. Justina Teo doesn’t think there are many individuals who genuinely enjoy visits to the dentist, but at Leeming Dental, helping people overcome their fears and getting ahead in life through a fabulous smile is what the team love doing. Always looking forward to meeting you to begin a journey with all the wonderful individuals who are transformed for the better, not only with their teeth, but in a way that positive impact manifests in all other aspects of their lives.
Expertise in dental implants – She graduated with honours locally and has been accepted as a fellow member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). We have her in the team for her expertise in implant surgeries. Being part of this team that goes above and beyond to deliver a different experience to people is what it’s all about for Dr. Justina.
Being of true service to others she values highly and believes that joy and happiness will always be a by-product of these actions. Dr. Pak Poon – Dentist
Dr. Pak Poon is dedicated to enhancing oral health and creating beautiful smiles. With more than ten years of experience, he prioritises patient care and believes that the key to a beautiful smile is preventing or resolving dental issues early through collaborative patient partnerships.

Dr. Pak enjoys building strong connections with his patients through engaging conversations and has a relaxed style that helps put patients at ease. He is deeply committed to giving back to the community and has volunteered for the ReBuilding Smiles program in Western Australia, helping victims of domestic abuse. Additionally, he has supported programs aiding refugees and the homeless through TIMA and St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre.
Driven by his passion for aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Pak pursued further studies and earned a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College London. He continues to contribute to the university as a mentor for the program.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pak loves exploring new hobbies and staying active. He enjoys running, cycling, and playing racquet sports to stay connected with friends. He also finds joy in playing the piano and discovering different cuisines.
Dentist Ash Foo
Dr. Ash Foo is a compassionate and highly skilled dentist committed to helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and their best smiles through personalised, sustainable care. Recognising that every patient is unique, Dr. Ash tailors his approach for utmost comfort, often providing sedation options—even for routine procedures. Whether collaborating with an anaesthetist or qualified sedationist, he ensures that each treatment is as relaxed and stress-free as possible.
Dr. Ash thrives in a patient-centred environment, working alongside a supportive and empathetic team. He is proficient in a broad range of general and surgical dental treatments, including:

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ash enjoys spending time with his wife, exploring the outdoors through walking and hiking, and travelling to new places. He is passionate about staying at the forefront of advancements in both dental technology and broader technological fields. In his downtime, Dr. Ash enjoys playing badminton and unwinding with anime, manga, and video games.
Ariel – Practice Manager
Ariel has been with us since 2015. Her professionalism, competency, dedication, diligence, patience and many other positive attributes have been invaluable to our patients, our team and the practice. She is self-motivated and always ready to learn and in turn, give.
Ariel attained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from University of Bradford (2012) and a Diploma in Dental Technology (2015). Years of service at National University Hospital of Singapore has equipped her with valuable administrative knowledge and patient relationship skills in a healthcare setting, which she has been delivering here at Leeming Dental.
She is a very devoted mum to her teenage daughter, likes K-pop and K-dramas and can converse in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Luisa Hungerford-Morgan – Oral Health Therapist
Luisa Hungerford-Morgan launched her dental career in Broome as a dental assistant, where she quickly developed a passion for dental care. Motivated by this passion, she pursued further education and completed a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne, graduating as an Oral Health Therapist in early 2021. Luisa’s foremost aim in dental practice is to make sure her patients feel at ease and receive the highest standard of care.
She strives to foster a welcoming and calm atmosphere for her patients. Luisa believes that building trust and ensuring comfort are essential to effective dental treatment. Her treatment philosophy emphasises preventive care and patient education, enabling her patients to take an active role in maintaining their oral health.

Michelle – Oral Health Therapist
Michelle is currently an undergrad in Oral Health Therapy at Curtin University. She is a smart, bubbly, lovable and reliable team member. Her positive energy and readiness to learn is such an asset.
Being the youngest in the team she is always ready to help and we usually see her more in our practice during her university breaks.
Fatimah – Oral Health Therapist / Prevention
Fatimah is our oral Health Therapist from Curtin University
Always bringing smiles and laughter to amplify the liveliness of the team, Fatimah is a joy to have in the team. You will see Fatimah on Saturdays and occasional weekdays helping out with chairside dental nursing with our dentists.
Anita – Receptionist
Anita has worked in the Dental industry as a dental assistant and receptionist for almost 20 years, predominantly in Paediatrics.
She loves working with children and enjoys building relationships with patients and loves to chat at the front desk.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her son and baking cookies.
Josephine – Receptionist
Josephine is our lovely receptionist who can speak Mandarin and Cantonese. She is very detailed in her work and always ready to help.
The field of customer service is very relatable to Josephine as she was an ex-aircrew member with Singapore Airlines.
She sees kindness in everyone and believes that positive mindset brings out the best in people. Her teenage son is a very talented tennis player.
Ruth – Dental Assistant
We’ve had Ruth in the team since 2020 and she has been very dedicated in her role. She has 25 years practicing as a dentist in the Philippines before relocating to Perth and has kept herself in the field for the past 9 years as a dental nurse.
She brings a very caring and gentle nature to everyone around her. In her spare time, Ruth spends it with her family and her puppy.
Marnie – Dental Assistant
Marnie has her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science at ECU. Joining the team in 2019, Marnie has a passion for oral health and nutrition promoting systemic health through maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
She is a local in Leeming and our patients and we love her pleasant demeanour. She can be seen either receiving patients at the front desk or helping out in the treatment rooms.
Kai – Dental Assistant
Kai has shown great interest in digital smile design and has been working with our dentists in creating the best smiles for our patients. He carries a very positive attitude and joined us in 2018.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from UWA in 2017. Extremely qualified, he helps in many areas such as technical support of our equipment, sterilisation of instruments and you may also see him assisting during your dental appointments
Outside of work, he volunteers for the Tzu Chi Foundation which helps to bring dental care to those who are unable to access it plus Kai simply loves cookies!
